That said, I think I'll have to go back and redo allll my old portraits to match. Playing it will help! In the mean time, I'm not sure who I'll focus on next but what I can say is that I'm happy with how this came out, particularly that it looks so much more like an oil painting. I haven't played the remake on PS4 yet, but it's sitting there waiting for me for whenever I've had my fill of Ghost of Tsushima. Id love the beach alternate costume, but it would probably be pre-Angeals death for his. I had started a portrait of him ages ago but reached a plateau where I couldn't make it work, so I'm keen to start over and perfect it somehow. Im guessing the Buster Sword because thats the weapon he is usually paired with (In ACC at least). Crisis Core’s grand finale is a genuine battle to the death. Surrounded by infantrymen, Zack takes Cloud to safety and marches towards the final fight of his life. As far as FFVII character portraits go, I've had plenty of people request the entire cast but I'll be open that there is only 1 more I intend to do and that is Sephiroth. With Genesis defeated, Zack and Cloud are ambushed on the outskirts of Midgar by Shinra. But for now, completing this set of four is a huge achievement for me. Zack proved incredibly easy, partially because of this amazing portrait of Prince Viktor Kochubey by François Pascal Simon Gérard from 1809, but that's rarely the case. Rinoa Heartilly, Yuna, and Princess Zelda are still sitting by their lonesomes while I contemplate the inner workings of how to portray Squall (can happen), Tidus (not gonna happen), and Link (want to happen but really hard). During the event, Cloud and Zacks Buster Swords will appear on the training field. Cloud x Tifa, Zack x Aerith, Cloud x Aerith, Zack x Cloud, Aerith x Tifa.whatever you fancy! I've tried purposely to make pairs/complimenting pieces as they seem to strike a chord when displayed together, but sometimes they can prove harder to complete than others. By adding Zack, I now have the set of portraits I was aiming for so everyone from FFVII can have a match: Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Zack. I found it somewhat surprising, as I thought Sephiroth would be requested more but pales in comparison to the dedication of Zack fangirls/boys everywhere. Whether online or in-person at conventions, Zack Fair has consistently been the most asked for addition to my Portraits series and is miles, miles, and miles ahead of anyone else who has been suggested. The Buster Sword was initially the property of Zack Fairs guide. "Most requested" is an understatement for this piece. The Zack Buster Sword is extremely mainstream among fanatics of the Final Fantasy Game Series. Cloud eventually joins forces with many others to save the planet, which is threatened by Shinra and Cloud's nemesis Sephiroth and discovers a reason to fight for a cause other than his own.*************************************************** Apathetic to the cause, Cloud initially fights for personal gain, and for the promise he made to childhood friend Tifa Lockhart. It was released in January 1997 for the PlayStation and was later re-released for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android, Xbox One, and Switch platforms, it is also included on the PlayStation Classic mini console.įinal Fantasy VII follows the story of mercenary Cloud Strife, who is hired by the eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE-led by Barret Wallace-to help fight the mega-corporation Shinra Electric Power Company, which attempts to drain the planet's lifeblood as an energy source to further their profits.
